The Black One is our flagship pedal featuring a wide, low profile, lightweight aluminium body paired up with a super strong Chromo steel axle. The pedal body and axle have been independently impact tested by EFBE Prüftechnik for Gravity use, which tests at far high loads than standard ISO tests. Therefore the Black One pedal is strong enough to withstand DH level abuse but weighs in at an incredible 309g.
With 40 bottom-loading aluminium pins per pedal, the Black One provides ultimate grip and control. As an update for the 2019 model to increase lifespan, we have upgraded to German IGUS Bushings, previously only featured on the TI axle version.
